Have you ever tried Lechon (Roasted Suckling pig) Juice? Sounds weird right? That's exactly how I felt when I drank it. (^O^)v It has become customary for me to try unique concoctions every time I eat out. This time I was at a Thai restaurant in Singapore ordering lunch when I found something unique that I haven't found in the Philippines. The main ingredient can be found in the Philippines but I wondered why no one has ever made a juice out of it yet. So I took a sip and instantly I my mind craved for Lechon! Now, I knew why it's not being served in my country. It tasted weird. As if eating meat in liquid form. hehehe (^O^)/ It was Tanglad (Lemongrass) juice! It's an herb commonly used in the Philippines to make roasted food fragrant and yummy.
Although I felt weird drinking it, maybe it can be used to induce once appetite specially when on a budget. hihihi (^O^)v

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal will battle it out again in Center Court for the third straight year! Roger has dominated the tournament for 5 years now, another win this year would definitely immortalize him in the tennis world.
One advice I can give him though is to avoid wearing a headband on a very sunny day. His two-toned face is very visible now. Rafael "Rafa" Nadal has the same mark as well.
Well ... it doesn't really matter it you can play tennis like these two can. (^O^)/
huh? made out of roasted suckling pig drippings?, that's a certified killer! or just lemongrass?
ReplyDeletelemongrass juice is available here in pinas! :) it's served for free in krua thai. Also tried it in tsai and bohol bee farm. hehehe it lowers BP! you just have to blend it with little water, then strain it then add more water & sugar to taste (tip from bohol bee farm) :D

ReplyDeleteNo, it's just lemongrass juice ^^ with sugar alone. Come to think of it, I think there is one in Tsai. But the one I tasted there was a mix of herbs that included Lemongrass. Haven't tried any with pure Lemongrass alone. Krua Thai-really? Never got any free drink from them. hehehe
Bohol Bee farm keeps popping up, should go there next time. hehehe
