However, I really don't wan't the Philippines' iconic jeepneys to disappear. Will there come a time that traditional jeepneys will only be seen inside museums?

Before these e-Jeepneys in Makati, electric tricycles were actually deployed first in the city of Davao. The city government made the electric transportation available to the public during a recent transportation strike. Here are some more pictures of electric tricycles and jeepneys.
