Eye Care, I Care

I have good vision. I’m very thankful that I don’t need glasses to read my favorite book or watch my favorite movie. I never feel comfortable wearing them. I feel self-conscious every time and the extra weight on my face keeps distracting me.

Considering the fact that I never heed any of my mom’s advice, I feel blessed to still have perfect vision. I read in the dark. I surf the internet even when the lights are off. I read while lying down. I used to stay too close to the monitor when I watch TV. And most of all, I stay awake ‘til the wee hours in the morning. Yes, depriving your eyes of rest can cause it to deteriorate.

I know, I should really take better care of my eyes. Who knows how long one can have perfect vision right? And what’s one to do without sight. I certainly can’t imagine living in the dark. But if you’re Edward Cullens, who can manage to see clearly in the dark, have perfect vision even when you haven’t slept for years now, I guess it doesn’t count at all. (A little hint for my upcoming post (^O-)v )

How about you? Do you have problems with your vision like near-sightedness, far-sightedness, cataract, or astigmatism? Maybe you should try pinhole glasses (http://www.pinhole-glasses-direct.com/). It’s a natural but scientific way to improve your vision.

Technology has really improved through out the years. These pinhole eyeglasses are made using laser technology to create miniscule holes in diameters of 1-1.5mm spaced regularly around the lens. The holes will serve to allow only direct light rays into your pupils and block indirect rays that can distort the true image. With this technology, it claims to be able to help in restoring vision for eye disorders like myopia (near-sightedness), hyperopia (long-sightedness), cataract, and astigmatism. And it’s doing all this in a natural way. After a while, you may not need to use prescription lenses anymore. Click the link if you want to know how these pinhole glasses actually work.

  1. I guess I'm as lucky as you as I have perfect vision even if I've been staring at computer screens for the most part of my life. Hehe.

  3. i've tried on a pair of those in the US. it's amazing how those pinholes can make your vision clear. it's like squinching your eyes haha It's drawback is, it is not stylish at all, it's simply plastic with holes. Hopefully some designer gets his hands on it or some celebrity wear it to the oscars. :D
