Senate Hearing on the Hayden Kho Scandal

Breaking News!

Today marked the start of the Senate Hearing on the Hayden Kho Scandal.  The hearing is as dramatic as it promises.  After only a few minutes of watching the news, a policeman wearing a press ID poured a bottle of water over Hayden Kho just as Katrina Halili was entering the room.  The said policeman said that he just went crazy and decided to do that.  Wow!
Orchestrated? Maybe.  Hayden Kho requested for a private session while Katrina Halili on the otherhand, wants a public session.

Hayden Kho, under oath, blamed Katrina Halili to introducing him to taking drugs.  In his own words,  he said that their relationship was mostly "drugs and sex, drugs and sex."  Katrina Halili strongly refutes his statements and said under oath as well that she does not and have not taken drugs.

-->

I think for the first time in Philippine history, due to the gravity of the other allegations, a sexy actress admitted to having liposuction without any hesitation.  (*very interesting*)

Dr. Vicky Belo, although not present during the hearing, was represented by his attorney.  She prepared a sworn statement which was read at the hearing.  Although people have not noticed it yet, in her sworn statement she said that she ordered Eric Chua and Bistek Rosario, two of Hayden's friends, to retrieve the computers from Hayden's apartment and search for a sex video between her and Hayden.  Upon knowing that the computer was password protected, Eric volunteered to hire a computer expert to hack the computer and retrieve the file.  She then said in her statement that she left the two to do their thing and that later on Eric found her and gave her a DVD copy of not only a sex video of her and Hayden but also of Hayden and all of his girls.  She then said that she "destroyed" the said DVD and hard drive.

As to how the DVD and hard drive was destroyed was not elaborated!  If she simply threw them away ... ay naku.

I wonder why it wasn't elaborated.  Could they be deliberately leaving loopholes so as that no one will be able to pinpoint how the videos were leaked?
Hayden Kho has just admitted to taking the videos, taking drugs, and buying drugs on his own will! He  may think that being sorry and portraying to be a victim in this whole incident as well will save his ass!  I think he's dead meat! ^^

Anyway, is anybody searching for the Dr. Vicky Belo - Hayden Kho Sex Video? Well, I don't have it and I'm not interested.

In the meantime. Hayden Kho has just revealed the existence of a fourth video with Katrina Halili!  I only have three!  Where's the 4th Hayden Kho - Katrina Halili Sex Video Scandal?!

I don't want it as well.  Let's respect women.  (Most of my readers are women kasi hehehe ^^).

Electric Jeepneys | Electric Transportation

Could this be the future of Philippine Jeepneys? What will happen to SARAO Motors? ^^ As global warming starts to take its toll, the advent of electric cars is a nice welcome. However, I really don't wan't the Philippines' iconic jeepneys to disappear. Will there come a time that traditional jeepneys will only be seen inside museums?

These e-Jeepneys were first seen coasting along Ayala Avenue in Makati. Read the article here.

Before these e-Jeepneys in Makati, electric tricycles were actually deployed first in the city of Davao. The city government made the electric transportation available to the public during a recent transportation strike. Here are some more pictures of electric tricycles and jeepneys.

Doubting Kris Allen: The new American Idol Winner

The American Idol 2009 winner is Kris Allen! My predictions were right and I am happy. But what is with America and all this vote naming. People are saying, probably mostly Adam Lambert fans, that Kris Allen's votes are from Christian votes / Anti-Gay votes / Gokey votes and so on. Even the Philippine Daily Inquirer article today considered the so called "Danny Gokey factor" and quoted Paula Adbul as saying "After the third one leaves, you wonder where do the votes go from that third contestant."

People seem to be forgetting the fact that voting is not compulsory! After all, voting is not free. It comes with a price (both time and money). I would think that people would only vote if they truly like the person. Why spend money on someone you don't like, right? If America is saying that American society will spend money and vote just to deliberately destroy the chances of another, well ... I don't think I really have anything further to say about that.

I think Kris Allen and Adam Lambert are two totally different artists. I believe both would excel in their own genres. Presenting them in front of a nation and asking people to vote on whom they like better is like asking people to choose between Kiss and Michael Jackson (forgive me for my analogies, I'm not very adept with music, I was gonna write Kiss and Britney Spears at first hehehe ^^). Eventually, one would immerge as a winner, but it doesn't mean that the other is less of an artist as the winner.

Kris Allen is the American Idol for 2009. He deserves to win. No doubt in my mind about it.

Although I wasn't able to follow the season in this video, it still remains as the most memorable American idol winning moment for me.

Wimbledon is celebrating the completion of its new Center Court! As you can see from the picture, the center court is now finally equipped with a retractable roof! In this year's Wimbledon Championship, come rain or shine we will definitely see tennis action! No more rain delays at Center Court.

Featured matches today for the celebration are:
Mixed Doubles:
Andre Agassi & Steffi Graf vs. Tim Henman & Kim Clijsters
Men's Singles:
Andre Agassi vs. Tim Henman
Women's Singles:
Steffi Graf vs. Kim Clijsters

The first exhibition match has just ended Tim Henman and Kim Clijsters winning the Mixed doubles match 7-6.
Andre Agassi kissing Steffi Graf at Wimbledon Centre Court.
In the mean time, Roger Federer is battling it out against Rafael Nadal in the Madrid Open finals! I can't believe that there's no coverage of that match here in the Philippines! The commentator is Star Sports did promise to give us an update on the match soon. I don't mind if Federer loses this match. More important is the fact that he's gaining form again just in time for the French Open in May. Whew! Exciting tennis season to come! (^o^)/

Pacquaio'ed | Pacquiao'd | Pacquiaoed

Believe it or not, the People's Champ, Manny Pacquiao is no longer just a noun but has become a verb as well!

In Today's inquirer column by Raul Palabrica, he wrote that an American sports reporter described the results of a basketball game using Manny Pacquiao's name. The article referred to the post-game analysis of the playoff match between the Denver Nuggets and Dallas Mavericks which the Nuggets won convincingly. The reporter reportedly said that the Mavericks were not simply defeated but were actually "Pacquiao'd!"

Searching over the net I encountered this article by veteran sports columnist Bill Plashchke where in he questioned the capabilities of the L.A. Lakers team to win an NBA title after losing to the Houston Rockets 100-92 in the first game of the Western Conference semifinals. He added that the team didn't just lose but that "they were Pacquiao'ed."

The term is being used to describe a convincing victory in a sports event.

Wow! Manny Pacquiao is another step closer to immortality. I hope a lot more people will use it so that it will officially become a word. If "Imeldific", which was associated with Imelda Marcos, made it through, I'm sure this will too. At least, this one, we can be proud of. (^o^)/

Share it! Spread it!

American Idol 2009 Results

In a few hours time, the American Idol results will be out and the whole world will find out who will be competing on the American Idol Finale next week. Like the previous season, we will be seeing two boys in the finals again. I personally would have liked to see Allirson Iraheta in the finals. Unfortunately, she was voted off last week.

Everyone is excited to see who the American Idol Top 2 will be! And everyone has there own opinion on the matter. Although I watch the show, I really don't care that much, but everyone who's into internet marketing knows that "american idol" and its stars are way up there in the items most searched for in the internet. And so, I write. Here are my reviews on the Top 3 and who I think will make it to the Finals!

Adam Lambert. The "Rock God" of season 8. I don't think any true rock artist has been in American Idol Finals ever. This just goes to show that not a lot of Americans are into this kind of music. But there will always be a first for everything and Adam Lambert will be that first. The most consistent contestant this year and one of the best performers out there. See you in the finals Adam!

Danny Gokey. What can I say? I still wonder how he's made it this far. I would have chosen Allison or Matt Giraud over him! His singing just seems so effortful. I guess good looks does have its advantages. However, I don't think it will be enough to put him in the finals. The last and only song I'll remember from him is his rendition of "You are so beautiful." Now, that was beautiful. If only he sang that way every week. Goodbye Danny!

Kris Allen. By now you would have figured out that I'm voting for Kris to the American Idol Finals! Yes! He definitely deserves to be there. The only way for the finals to be competitive is for him to battle it out with Adam. Danny doesn't stand a chance against Adam. Kris Allen's acoustic style is so pleasing to the ears. Every Filipino would love him. I'm sure his album would sell better than Adam's here in the Philippines. If he wins, Paolo Santos, Nyoy Volante, Jimmy Bondoc and all other Filipino acoustic singers would be pleased for sure.

There goes my picks. Who are your American idol picks? If you don't agree with me, better change your bets right now. If you have heard me sing, you will certainly agree with me. Yes! You will agree that authority is what I don't have as I am musically challenged. hehehe (^o^)v

See you at the American Idol Finale next week! As for my fearless forecast, I believe Kris Allen will the the American Idol 2009 winner!

The Lost Generation

The Lost Generation
by Jonathan Reed

I am part of a Lost Generation
And I refuse to believe that
I can change the world
I realized this may be a shock but
"Happiness comes from within"
is a lie, and
"Money will make me happy"
So in 30 years I will tell my children
they are not the most important thing in my life.
My employer will know that
I have my priorities straight because
work
is more important than
Family
I tell you this
Once upon a time
Families stayed together
but this will not be true in my era
this is a quick fix society
Experts tell me
30 years from now I will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of my divorce
I do not concede that
I will live in a country of my own making
In the future
Environmental destruction will be the norm
No longer can it be said that
My peers and I care about this earth
It will be evident that
My generation is apathetic and lethargic
It is foolish to presume that
There is hope.

And all of this will come true unless we choose to REVERSE IT.

First $100 from Google | Earn Money Online

Woohoo!  April 30, 2009 marks the day when my Google Adsense earnings reached 100 dollars!  Regardless of what others might tell you, it really wasn't that easy! ^^

I started blogging August 2006.  That was 3 years ago!  And I've set up my ads ever since.  If you can be strict about it, that means, it took me 3 years to get this far!  However, that doesn't represent the whole truth.   About 90 percent of this earning only came the last 9 months.  It was only in August 2008 when I became more serious and considered niche blogging to earn more online.  That was when I started earning an average of $10 a month.  Now, I'm getting into SEO blogging as well.  I hope my monthly income would spike to $100 a month!  100 is the key number because Google Adsense only pays you once you've reached this mark.

Considering what other bloggers have been able to buy through blogging (LCD TVs, Cars, House and Lots), $100 a month is certainly attainable.  I wish one day I can also say that I bought a house and lot through blogging alone.  hehehe (^o^)/

Looking for a Web Host

I’ve finally reached the $100 mark! A friend told me that you can make more money online through Google Adsense if you have your own domain. Now that I’ve profited a little from blogging, I’m considering just that and I’m currently looking for a web host.

Upon searching, I stumbled upon this web hosting rating site. It contains a list of the Top 10 Web Hosting Providers out there. The site says that their rating system is based on customer satisfaction, affordability, reliability, uptime and technical support. Wow! This site will greatly help me in my search for a good one. The site also allows me to compare prices, space and traffic capacity. If you're looking for one as well, check it out.

Although this site provides useful information, I would still like to solicit from you guys which web host you think is best. That way, I can refer to you for possible problems. (^o^)/ It is sometimes hard to acquire the services of others which nobody in you circle has ever tried before. I hope you guys can share which web host you are using and how the service is. I’m new at this and I would really appreciate it if you can share your expertise with me. Thank you.

Job Fair: Job-a-palooza

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) orgazized a nationwide job fair in time for Labor Day (May 1) and called it Jobapalooza. DOLE promised a lot of job opportunities for everyone.

A lot of job seekers came! Unfortunately, due to the high turnout and long lines, a lot were not accommodated. In Davao, if I remember correctly, the job fair will run until May 3. Therefore, there's still time for all of you out there still seeking for a job. Don't give up! (Should I include myself in this group already? hehehe ^^) Among the lucky ones who were accommodated, some were hired on the spot while others even got job placements abroad.

The picture above shows the lines of job seekers at Gaisano Mall Davao on May 1, 2009.

Or the next time you apply for a job, consider bringing your friends along. Just watch this video ^^

Pacquaio vs. Hatton Fight | Swine Flu Advisory

In the Manny Pacquaio vs. Ricky Hatton match, the big question is ...

"WHO WILL WIN?!"

That may be true but the bigger question really is ...

"WILL BOTH PLAYERS WEAR MASKS?" (^o^)v

The Pacquaio vs. Hatton fight is fast approaching and people have offered their predictions on who will win. However, nobody seems to be addressing the fact that hundreds of people from all over the globe, including mexican fans, will be in Las Vegas to watch the fight. The risk is definitely there for fans carrying the swine flu virus to infect everyone else. Filipinos, including all the congressmen, who went to watch the fight should be quarantined before they be allowed to enter the Philippines again!

That's a long shot, I know. I just hope that everyone who goes to watch the fight will take extra precaution. I'm sure Manny and Ricky wouldn't mind muted cheers due to surgical masks. I'm actually half expecting both players to wear their own masks as well. hehehe ^^
